WAY OF THE CRANE CODE OF ETHICS
As a student in the
family of the Martial Arts, I train hard in our Art in order to make my
body strong so that I can protect myself, my family and the weak.
I practice
our Art faithfully in order that I may come to embody the five maxims:
Character, Sincerity, Effort, Etiquette, and Self Control.
And finally, I study my
Art so that I may come in to harmony and peace with myself, my
environment and, ultimately, all of nature.
My Art is my life. It is my way. Thus, I live my life as I study my Art.”
